Hello!

After muting the sound before shuting down Windows, sound doesn't work at all. When clicking on volume icon, it displays "searching for problems". When trying to play some music file, it also displays an error. Reseting BIOS (removing battery and shorting it's connectors) doesn't help, unplugging built-in speaker too. On Linux Ubuntu (live) sound also doesn't work. They told me to reinstall chipset and then audio drivers - how can do it securely? On Dell site there are only older versions of chipset drivers. And after installing audio driver, nothing changes. In devices manager there's only "audio for Intel displays". In BIOS there's "audio controller = {none}" in "device information" section, although "enable audio" is checked. Please help.
