Easy CD Creator + Windows 2003

Hi All,

With my poweredge 1600SC,  I have a factory installed DVD/ CD+RW drive.   Also delivered with the system was the Easy CD creator install disk.   Unfortunately this seems to be incompatible with Windows 2003 Server.   I have been to the website for the product and there is a patch, however on installing the patch it requests the MSI installation file for Easy CD Creator (its not in the patch) which then causes the application to revert back to the original version (patch free).

Does anyone know where I can get a working copy of this for windows 2003.   Its a bit of a nightmare because if I now inadvertantly insert a writable CD into the drive, it wont eject without powering down the server :(

    Thanks for the reply.

I have tried this and the result is that it causes the application to roll back to the original installed version which is not supported by windows 2003 server.

Does you Roxio plastic case/sleve have a number or version on it?  Do you have a particular type of Windows 2003 Server?  (Standard, Small Business, Web, etc)

I believe that Dell uses the the 5.3.4.21 SP8.  You should have gotten a blue disc of Roxio and it should have a number on the bottom ?? H1099 or something
