PowerEdge 2400 Plug & Play Configuration Error issue
I have a client with 2400, latest BIOS and backplane firmware. when it boots, it says "Plug & Play Configuration Error" right after it displays the CPU info.
it POSTs normally up until boot, then i displays the "F1 to boot, F2 to setup" message. Pressing F1 does get it to boot normally.
i can't find anything in BIOS that relates to the Plug & Play configuration. as far as i know, nothing has been done to the machine recently (meaning months).
any thoughts?

inside i have a PERC2/SC, DRAC II, Intel Pro/1000 NIC, & two Intel Pro/100 NIC.
dual 1.0GHz P3 CPU's (133 FSB), four 512MB PC-133 ECC RAM
i'm running windows 2003 (dell oem version) standard edition SP2. bios and backplane firmware are current versions
I did reseat everything. managed to get it working for a while, then got hit with a memory parity fault blue screen.
ran dell's MPmemory tester and everything passed.
not sure where i should look next.

Hello beekerc2,
what is connected to the server... like a moniter mouse keyboard... try reseating these items and when you get to the OS is anything not working.... just somethings to try...
