I have encountered a Poweredge R510 that is currently running Exchange 2007 with a single 1TB SATA drive (1 drive!)  - no raid controller in system.
I have ordered and received a Perc 6i Raid controller for the system along with 3 - 1TB drives that will be RAID5 together.
My expectations are that I will be able to down the Server, add the new controller and drives to it, configured them as Raid5 without affecting the original 1TB OS disk running Exchange.
Then I will boot a CD with disk cloning software and image the original 1TB disk over to the RAID5 disk set.
Anybody see any issues with this?        Will the disk cloning software recognize both the original 1TB disk and the Raid5 disk set, so the image can just be copied over.
