Which RAID controller do you have?  Does your Server 2003 CD have Service Pack 2 on it?  32-bit or 64-bit?

Please keep to ONE thread!  You have now created three threads for the same question.  We don't work for Dell - we are users helping users - and we don't get paid, so be patient.

    PERC 5/i

You must first configure RAID in the CTRL-R utility during POST ... highlight the controller in the top-left corner (above where it probably says No Configuration Present) and hit F2, hit Space Bar (or Insert) to select each of your two drives, select RAID 1, use the default size, and give it a name if you want ... check the Advanced and Initialize boxes, then OK.

You must give Server 2003 a driver so it can talk to the controller and see the array that you set up.  2003 can only get a driver via flopppy, so if you have a floppy drive in this server, then put the drivers below on it and hit F6 when prompted, just after booting to the 2003 CD.  If you don't have a floppy drive, then you need to integrate the drivers into your installation CD, creating a new CD ... you will use nLiteOS.com for this.  There are tutorials on how to use nLite on their site.

    You must use this driver:
