We have a 1600n all-in-one networked with two computers.  When we first hooked up the new printer/scanner/fax, everything worked fine.  We did find that we had to close all other open programs before scanning or we would get an "error: network" message when scanning to the second computer.   Now we are unable to scan to the second computer at all.  We get the same message even when all the other programs are closed.  The printer sees the computer, the id is displayed as an option.    The computer sees the printer, we've also checked it from that way.  It prints fine, but won't scan.  The other computer scans fine.  We're able to scan onto the first computer and save on the hard drive of the second, because they are networked, but it's kind of a hassle. 

 

Anybody have any ideas?
