I've been trying to simply scan a typed document so it can be edited. It is black text on 8.5" x 11" paper.  I have done this before and had no problem.  I am using the "black text" setting and for "How will scan be used" I chose the "To edit text (OCR & 300 DCI)" setting.  But, I receive an error box which tells me to get my " CD & install OCR from the directory".  A Dell tech told me if I uninstalled the printer & reinstalled the printer software I'd be fine.  That only caused further problems.  I have successfully reinstalled the printer driver, but I am still stuck w/ this OCR problem.  Someone please help!!!
