Does anyone know of a way to change the default scanner settings in the software for these printers?  I need to be able to change it so that when we send an email from the scanner it will default to 300dpi and scan the entire page (not just the selected area).

 

I called the Dell techs and after I was told "no one has ever asked that before" ... they said they didnt think it could be done and told me they would put in a "feature request" for it but that it most likely wouldnt be looked at. 

 

Has anyone figured out a way to do this?  If I cant save these settings I am gonna have to send these printers back ... defaulting to 150dpi and only scanning certain sections of the page will not work.  :-(

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
