UNSOLVED
A960 Printer not functioning at initial connection Win XP SP3 & IE7
When clicked on its icon the first response was Spooler Service Not Running. With help hereon, that has been corrected. Now when click Printer Preferences up comes OPERATION COULD NOT BE COMPLETED.
With no info as to what's needed or where to find it, I'm lost somewhere in cyber space.
Will appreciate solution -- hopefully uncomplicated if not simple.

Start, run or hit the Windows key and the R key at the samw time
type
services.msc
hit enter
Look for the print spoller. Make sure it's set for automatic and restart the service.
Also look in printers and faxes and lake sure your printer is online.
