I have a friend that was trying to install a new Dell V505 all-in-one printer on his Dell Inspiron 530s desktop computer running Vista 32.  When try to install the printer CD, it prompts to disconnect the USB cable and then it gets to a prompt to connect the USB cable. 

When connect the USB cable, it   comes up with the following error message “USB Device Not Recognized” and we were unable to install the printer.  We tried a front USB port and were finally able to install, but now we are getting a “Scan Canceled” error when try to scan from the printer to the PC Toolbox software.

Any ideas what is going on?
