I accept that Dell do not offer a direct solution for scanning 35mm negatives

BUT there are software vendors that produce solutions for various scanners,  but I can not answer their question with respect to "scanner type" in that Dell is not recognised as a scanner supplier/manufacturer.

Do Dell badge another's product? (OEM), or is there a known near equivalent in the market place?

(I must confess, to date, my AIO922 has achieved all that I have asked of it).
