I was preparing for this exam and have decided to clear it this weekend. But I found that this Exam is retiring sooon . So if I clear the exam now will my certification be valid later or I will be provided the credentials of the Certification exam thats coming this July.

For more details on the Avamar changes in the EMC Proven Professional program you should read this document. To quickly answer your question if you pass the W22-280 Avamar exam now:
1) Your certification will still be valid after the exam is retired in July.
2) Provided that you also hold a valid EMC Proven Professional Associate level (EMCPA) credential you will be granted an EMCIE Backup and Recovery – Avamar Specialist credential after July 16, 2010.

Hello Anuj,
I know that we've already reviewed this via email, but thought that others might have the same question.
As long as a certification exam is available, it is valid. You don't have to worry; feel free to take the exam and be sure to let us know how you do!
