My 4100 Dimension stop working so after talking to dell and microsoft they said I needed a new hard drive! ( everytime i loaded xp setup would say windows can not find hard drive) So I ordered a new hard drive QUANTUM FIREBALL PLUS AS but looking at the ribbon I notice a hole in one of the wires by the mother board connector, is that normal and could that be my problem?
