Dual boot system
I have a deminsion E510. It has the original hd with windows xp and I added a 320 gb hd with windows vista. On my drive with xp the main disk is disk c. On the 320 gb I have a 40gb partition for my os, this is disk D. Then I have the remaining space partitioned as disk F. When looking at my computer on the xp drive all files are labeled right. When I boot to the vista drive It shows my 40gb partitioned being labeled as disk c instead of D. The piont I'm getting at is that when I down load something in vista's hd, it's still being stored on my xp drive. Which is my disk c, intead of disk d or f where I'm specifying for it to go. It's very confusing. I'm wanting to use my disk f for all media files, so that I can free up my disk c on my xp drive. When clicking on disk f in the vista drive, it shows my itunes and limewire programs. It's not showing that my music and videos are actually using the space. Instead of going to my disk c on the xp drive.
