I have an NEC DVD+RW ND-6100A, and I have had a very strange problem since the first day i bought this computer. :(
Everytime i burn a Music CD and i try to play it on a stereo or car stereo, some tracks around 4-7 sound chopped and with static, so the stereo just skips through this tracks. However, when i play the same burnt CD on my computer it sounds fine, without any problems. HUH? What is up with this? I have no problems when i burn a DVD or Data, only with music.
I already tried using multiple burning software and have used different types of CD-R Media. But it's all the same, the problem still persists.
Could this mean that the drive is defective?
And if it does, who can i contact to have it replaced?
Any other help to solving this problem would be greatly appreciated. :)
System Specs.
Dimension 4600c
3.2 GHz Intel Pentium 4 with HT Technology
1GB RAM
Microsoft Windows XP Professional
I have been trying to figure this out for months now. I don't know why but i have a habit of always burning at max speed. Guess i would have never figured it out. lol

Try 4x or 6x and see if this gives better results.
