I am trying to size power strips for my server racks which will contain about (13) R710 Servers each with redundant 870W power supplies.
I am planning to bring in 208V 3 phase power and am struggling to find power strips to handle what I figure the current I will need.
Can someone supply actual data or calculation per power supply of what kind of draw I am going to be looking at?
Any suggestions on power distribution? I am looking at bring in two 60 amp 208V 3-phase circuits to each cabinet from our UPS, one per power strip.
From there I am looking at 2 - 60amp 208V 3-phase vertical power strips from Geist or Panduit. This really seems like overkill and very expesive per strip, but I am worried about tripping.
