Bluetooth Issues

I'm having the same Bluetooth connection issue that other users have reported, namely, that it will intermittently pair up and then drop the connection to my cars. When it works, it seems to work fine, but randomly, after a few minutes, it will drop the connection, and I will be forced to re-pair the connection.

I have a 2008 BMW X5 and a 2008 BMW 535i. This happens with both cars.

Furthermore, on the X5, the car tells me that the car's bluetooth name is "BMW #####" (a 5 digit number), and that is the name that the DVP picks up so I can pair with it. On the 535, the car tells me the same thing ("BMW #####") (a different 5 digit number), but the DVP picks that up only as "BMW", it doesn't show the number--I don't know why that'd be different, but it is. AND, on top of that, when I'm in the 535, the phone will "wake up" periodically, for no apparent reason (screen saver is on, and then it suddenly lights up, but it isn't receiving a call, no messages came in, no alerts, etc...the screen just turns on, and then after a while, it times out and goes dark again...and then it turns itself back on again). This only happens in the 535, not the X5. It does not happen if I disable Bluetooth on the phone.

Hope these details help you guys to figure out what's wrong, but in the mean time, this is unusable for me, and is a deal breaker.
