SCSI-3 Persistent Reservation
Hi
i have been asked if the Unity Array in particular 650F supports SCSI-3 Persistent Reservation
this question was asked due to an error in a cluster validation test where an error message was revived.

i need to know
a. is Persistent Reservation enabled and if not the can and how do i enable it ?
b. is there any other articales which can help resolve this error ?

Yes - Dell Unity supports SCSI-3 Persistent Reservations. See the below KB article. This was written for the VNX and earlier arrays, but does apply to the VNXe and Unity arrays as well.
