Fatal EXE message, please help!!
This message keeps popping up with everything I try to do anything in my pc. It will ask me to debug it and all. My virus scanner says im not infected with a virus but I contancted Dell and they said I was. This is the same message:Fatal Execution Engine Error (0x7927baca)
Someone, if you know anything, please help me...thx

Here is a claimed solution by another Dell forum user named chete9
Use file search to locate your NotifyAlert file location. You may see a few files listed, but look for the one that has no additional extensions after the file name. For me, I found it at:
C:\Program Files\Dell\Support\Alert\bin\NotifyAlert
Right click once on the correct file listing (out of the one's that show up) and select Rename. Simply place a single "_" in front of the file name (i.e., _NotifyAlert) and hit "OK." Now reboot your computer and see if, in fact, that has done the trick. It worked like a champ on my Dell Inspiron 5100 that runs on Windows XP, and had no adverse effect on any program or function. Give it a try!
