hi! I have a Dell Dimension 3100 Desktop pc and running Windows Xp. I have never had any issues and all of a sudden my Pogo games stopped working? It was telling me that I needed the Java Plug in? I tried many different ways to correct it but, nothing worked. I tried Spybot too but that did not work either. I am completely unable to access Java in my control panel either. When I try to click on it in ctrl pnl I receive the follwoing message:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JAVASOFT\JavaRuntimeEnvironment\1.6.0_11.

Short of returning my pc to a shipped state, I cannot figure out how to resolve this issue?

Can anyone help? I went to Java.com to try to install the latest version of Java & when I try to install it it says that i already have it on my pc. Then it asks if I want to re-install and upon chosing yes, it tells me it cannot reinstall something that is not installed??? makes no sense.

I also do not have the Dell operating disk to reinstall windows or I would just try that.

 

Can anyone please help? It would be much appreciated!
