Celerra/Cava Unicode Issue
Just wondering if anyone has come across this issue before..
We have Celerra NS80G's which use CAVA and Symantec AV, some files cannot be scanned due to them having characters such as £,$,% in the path.
Celerra Code: 5.6.46-4
CAVA Vesrion: 4.2.1
AV Version: Symantec SAV SE
Error code/event below:
Jan 7 14:15:59 2010 DART:VC:ERROR:7 Slot 4: 1262873751: '\root_vdm_2\fs_xxx\root\Data\xxx\£ Posting Reports\2010\Jan 2010\filename.PDF' was not checked.
The xx are just replacing folder fs names.
Bold show offending character.
We have been informed by EMC that this is a unicode translation issue and not a Celerra/Cava issue- I do not know where to go next with this - any Ideas appreciated.
