Hi,

How do I find if Dell Command v5.5.0 is installed on my PC?

    Hi

    Try...

    1. Open Control Panel → Programs → Programs and Features (or Settings → Apps → Installed apps on Windows 10/11).

    2. Look for either:

      • Dell Command | Update (Classic variant), or

      • Dell Command | Update Windows Universal Application (UWP variant).

    3. The Version column will show the installed version (e.g. 5.5.0).dell+2

    If it’s not listed, DCU is not installed.

      Kind Regards

    Dell Command Update is a stand-alone application for client systems that provides updates for system software that is released by Dell. This application simplifies the BIOS, firmware, driver, and application update experience for Dell client hardware.

    Dell Command | Update Application | Driver Details | Dell US

    Driver Id : Y5VJV

    Besides what Anne said, go inside C:\Dell\Drivers and look for a folder of the name Y5VJV.  If none found, chances are it is not installed.

    @redxps630

    Thanks for the help.  I don't see any Dell folder under C.
