I'm having a similar issue, but mine seems to be physical damage from a drop, since the camera doesn't show up anywhere, not even in Device Manager, and drivers, BIOS settings, and a clean boot haven't fixed it. Has anyone dealt with a broken webcam module before, and is it worth repairing at home versus just going through Dell support or using an external USB camera instead?
