I got a new Dell xps and added the updates. It is stuck in restart mode. You push the power button it goes back to restart. It does not want to shut down. It has been this way for 3 hours. I am very upset. To get a new laptop and with in days of owning it something it is not working. For this price and hassle I should be given a new system. I will not buy DELL again. So.. disappointed. The video to trouble shoot this issue does not work for my laptop, because pushing the power button only puts it back into restart mode. I wonder who can fix this.
Hello, You really need to learn how to post to the forum with the type of what computer you have the spec and what you have tried to do to fix the problem. Without this it makes it difficult. The more info you provide the better your off to get your problem resolved. Since this is a new computer I would suggest that you test that everything is working before your time runs out. You also did not mention if you got the computer from a 3rd party or directly from dells website which makes a big difference. I hope you have read and understand the warranty policy before purchasing the computer. If you are not satisfied and not getting help from dell I would call your financial institute. To resolve issues you can always do a search and if you have you see many customers have similar problems have you tried any of these? Another thing you can search the web and try some of the solutions they give. I found a good link which worked for many of my friends I help out with computer problems. At your own risk give it a try it may work or not. Hope you get your issue resolved.
