cannot send e-mail

That was my initial thought as well, but any idea why a message with an attachment from the same account succeeds?

That statement on why it was rejected seems to tell why. It appears that her ISP or more exactly that e-mail server is seeing that message as SPAM and rejecting it. Have her check with whoever administers their e-mail account and get your e-mail address on her "allowed" list.

I would still suspect some filter at the receiving end. Why it allows the message with the attachment ?? There wouldn't be any difference in the originating e-mail address and if it allows one but not the other it would suggest a corrupted or mis-programmed filter.
