Help with Windows Xp Task Manager
Everytime that i press ctrl+alt+delete and open my task manager it comes up but then suddenly goes away this also happens with programs related such as my disk defragmentor i havent downloaded any strange things i dont think and this started happening a couple months ago thanx for any help yall may be able to give me.

That is an indication of a virus on the computer. You should also get the same response if you go to Start|Run, type regedit and click OK. Several recent viruses can cause it (one of which is described here). Do a full system virus scan using updates virus signatures and see what is found.
