I had to reinstall windows xp on one of my computers. I uninstalled sp1. The only code that I have is the 20 digit sp1. Is there a file somewhere on windows xp disk with this number. Summer_52
The SP1 update shouldn't require any product key (or authentication code) input. If you are looking for the code for the Windows that came with your computer, it's a sticker on the side or top of the case for desktop, and on the underside of a notebook.
