Just last week I had two Dell Inspirons right next to each other and I had a Linux ISO cd. I put the CD into my Inspiron 2650 and left it there; within a an hour or so the computer crashed and it said, "Physicall Memory Dump" I turned my computer off before the memory dump finished and restarted, and Windows was corrupted so I tried reinstalling it. When I booted the Windows CD I went to repair, and it said it didn't find any old version of Windows, or any other partitions! Then I accidentally put a password on my hard drive, the pass was a; and it didn't accept it! Then I put my Linux ISO cd into my other computer, an Inspiron 5150, which too then crashed! I left it on for about 20 mins to finish its memory dump (even thou it only took it like a min). Then I restarted my computer. Everything on my computer was a bit unusually slow and sluggish; and it still kinna is like that after I repaired Windows over 3 times and I defragment my hard drive everynight. So could someone please try to explain to me what might've gone wrong? And is my Inspiron 2650's hdd corrupt? And what can I do to get my Inspiron 5150's computer's speed back or is this permanent?
