Spoolsvr crashes all the time
Hello
This has now happened on two of my systems 1 dell branded and 1 older custom gaming machine, I also have 2 Dell laptops that do not expereince this issue whats so ever.
Anyways it seems that whenever i reboot windows i get an immedite interactive services warning upon reboot. I click the window and it brings up a new screen saying that C:/windows/services/spoolsvr.exe has terminated in a strange way.... So I click okay and that closes that window and windows continues to reboot ect and then about 2 mins later i get another error message saying that windows had to close the spoolsvr. I do not know what this means since it isn't effecting the real performance of my machine in games or internet browsing, Video encoding or the like. I am assuming it has to do with the printer spooler but even after all that things print just fine. I am using a lexmark x4975 WI-FI printer on all machines but it is just this Dell desktop and my home made gamer that i basicaly replaced with this dell here that expereince that error message.
System Dell XPS 420 intel core 2 quad q9300 4 gigs ram 750 gig C: 320 gig D: ge-force 8800gt ect ect
Any help in isolating this would be a great help i have reformated the machine twice now and it has come back both times. It is not something that is there immedialey it takes a few weeks of use of the machine and then any random re-boot will cause the error to hapen and the all subsequent reboots it is there.
Please help

rwbrehm,
Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum,
Sometimes Trojans disguise themselves as spoolsvr errors. Run your anti-virus software to see if this is the problem.
