Suddenly cannot connect to My Vault

After years of working fine I'm now getting the following error when trying to access My Vault:

The "My Vault" at location 'C:\....Wave Systems Corp\DocMgr' is inaccessible.

Please verify that this location exists and can be accessed by this machine.

The Vault has been working fine on my D820 for years, this just started today. If anyone can be of assistance I would greatly appreciate it.

try system restore

are there anymore details that might have been left out....had there been any sw/hw changes to the system and what o/s are you running????

I'm running XP SP2 with all the updates. As for software or hardware changes, there haven't been any. I've tried going back to multiple restore points and they all say nothing has been changed.

I can see the files in their encrypted format if I go to the vault directory. But I can't access them through the Document Manager Interface. I don't really want to mess with the individual files as that can do major damage to the virtual drive.
