WEIRD startup issue
When I start up the computer, it sticks at the "Windows is starting" page with the blue background. The only way to get it unstuck is to close the laptop and wait until it goes into standby mode. I then open the laptop up and after about a minute of lagging on the logon screen, it works! How can i fix this?

Steveatx,
Click on Start|Control Panel|Power Options. Check options for both battery use and AC power use to be sure that the system is turning off rather than hibernating when you shutdown while on AC power. Also check options for "waking" up the system if you use hibernation.
