what is "Windows XP Professional downgrade"?
One of the OS choices for dell computers is "Genuine Windows® 7 Professional Bonus-Windows XP Professional downgrade".
This means the computer comes with windows 7 pre-installed, and a mechanism (perhaps a CD) to downgrade it to XP professional, right? I want to make sure before I order the PC.

According to this page, the Win7/XP bonus program works the same way as the Vista one - Dell ships the PC with XP installed, and you get disks for both XP and Win7.

I'm getting one answer of each. How should I resolve this?
I would call dell to get the answer except I can't figure out which number to call for a pre-sale question. Tech support wants the tag off the machine which I haven't bought, and sales is a robot.
