win zip or equivalent
Does any one know where I can get free software to unzip a file??

Windows has the capability to open zip files. It also has the capability to create.

Are you saying vista has that capability??
Xp had it, Vista has it also

Thank you for the info ,I have downoaded the file from westen digital for My Book
The service Tech had me reformat the hard drive and I lost the software for My Book ,The file is sitting in a folder,then all I have to do is click on the file..thenks again
