Have you restarted like the installer asked you to do? It would appear setup failed because a registry key is either locked or in use and would be released after a restart.

According to http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html#Install - "If your wmsetup.log contains error "0xc00d2afb": This is "The requested operation failed. The system will not function correctly until the system is rebooted." Setup failed for some unknown reason. You should reboot your system in order to finish moving files. This error is not interesting by itself: the other errors in the setup log are what you should focus on."

Not quite sure whats messing up here -- have you ended any background tasks that may be using the player files, scanned for spyware/malware, etc?
