XP Operating system Install

What would happen if I attempted to use my XP operating system recovery CD and installed it in a compaq presario laptop that I'm working on fixing?

You would get a message that the cd will only work on a Dell.

That would be a violation of the EULA and illegal. Your actual question can't be answered on this forum as it violates the TOS to do so.

Solicitation is against the T.O.S. as well I believe
