8950 wont post with with new gpu
Have a 8950 with a 1660 ti video card. Upgrading to a 3060ti. Wont post , gets stuck on Dell logo . 8950 has upgraded power supply.

Bios updated and has optional 750 watt power supply.
try disable (or enable) secure boot in bios and see what happens.
8950 is validated to support Dell 86RMK Nvidia/MSI RTX 3060 Ti, 8GB.
which 3060ti are you using?

Have you updated the BIOS as it may be a BIOS issue but more importantly what is the rating of the upgraded PSU?
I am not a Dell employee...I am forum volunteer
