Hi all,

I’m upgrading an old XPS 420 at the moment and just wanted to get some clarification on this

I am installing an e8400 3ghz processor, gtx 750 ti 2gb gpu and 8 gb of ram
With windows 7 ultimate os

My main concern is the ram once again as I understand that my os has to be 64 bit ?
Could somebody elaborate and tell me how I go about knowing if my dell XPS is 64bit os ready as I feel checking the processors bit type wasn’t enough
