Dell XPS 8940 - Bios Update
Today windows update updated the XPS 8940 Bios to Version "Dell, Inc. - Firmware - 0.1.0.3". (29.7.2020)
Driver and support homepage gives Version 1.0.1. (13.7.2020).
What is the right version:1.0.3 or 1.0.1?
System is still working, but I am a little afraid windows update will install a wrong version... How to prevent this?

Bios update went smooth for my 8940. I'm sure you would not have received it if not meant for your XPS 8940. No issues for me. Change log would be nice though. There are settings in the bios to turn off the update of bios via Win Update. Review them. I would leave it as is IMO.
