For your Dell XPS laptop, there are a few ways to increase storage:
Internal Upgrade: If your model allows, you can replace the existing SSD with a higher-capacity NVMe drive.
Secondary Drive: Some XPS models support adding a second M.2 SSD or 2.5" SATA drive (depending on the model).
External Storage: Using a fast external SSD via USB-C/Thunderbolt is an easy option without opening the laptop.
For guidance, you can also check the Dell support website. Always back up your data before upgrading and ensure the new drive is compatible with your XPS model.

Well you can try the following to fix the issue:
Delete temporary files
Remove unused apps
Delete large files
Empty recycle bin
Extend disk partition

Depends on the model. On some it's a simple matter of replacing the drive with a larger one.
On others (the 2-in-1 13" XPS models, mostly) it's not possible short of replacing the system board, to which the SSD is soldered.
If you need a more definitive answer, you'll need to provide the full model number (XPS 9330, 9330 2-in-1, 7590, etc.).
