Alpha R1, boot issue

So I have the original Alienware alpha r1 i3. The ram is upgraded to 8 gb and I have a ssd in place of the stock hdd. It is also upgraded to windows 10. (These upgrades where done about 1 and a half years ago so I’m certain this is not the problem). However a week ago i was very graciously given a new moniter(lg ultra wide) by my freind and a first it worked fine. But, 8 days ago my alpha has not been booting up correctly. The lights have been turning on as well as on my keyboard and mouse but it is not displaying anything on the screen the hdd light is not one. So I turn it on and off again and it boots up fine and everything works as normal. This is still an annoying issue and for me and it causes concern for the health of my computer. I’m not shure if it is the moniter but like I said it works great when it does boot up.

I would appreciate any suggestions! What I have tried is:

Update windows and drivers.

Reset bios.

Reset cmos.

Updated to most recent bios.

Tried a different psu.

Ran a epsa test(ran clean).

Scanned for malware.

Looked in computer and everything looks good and clean.

Disabled fast boot.

Ran a scan on ssd.

Tried to plug it into a differnt moniter when it does this (still no signal).

Windows repair.

P.s sometimes when it does boot up the first time the splash screen is a stretched res.

Run the Dell Diagnostics to test the hardware. Sounds like the video card is having problems, but it could be something else.

Thank you so much for the reply! Like I said above I did run the espa test and it ran clean but I did notice that there was a dell support assist test so I just completed that now(this ran clean). I was reading around and some people have fixed problems similar to mine by replacing the cmos battery. But my system isn’t really showing symptoms of a dead battery. Also I would think it is the gpu but my games are running as normal and I don’t have any problems on my pc aside from the boot.
