Alienware Update Black Screen
So yesterday an annoying Alienware update popped up and proceeded to continually pop up for the remainder of my working day. So today I closed all programs and did the update. The update commenced and then restarted my Alienware PC. But all it showed me was a black screen. No sounds. No onscreen displays nothing. I restarted numerous times but no change. I unplugged my dual Benq 27’ monitors and plugged in a single 17’ monitor but no change. I opened the case and removed the gpu and restarted. No change. Can anyone offer any help?

Do you think a BIOS/Firmware Update was installed/failed.
What Alienware model do you have? If it's newer, you can try this:

Solution was to do a hard reset.
