Aurora, audio has an error with troubleshooting
About 2 or 3 days ago my alienware aurora shut off and i had trouble with it booting up today I got it to turn on and i have an audio error when i tried to troubleshoot it, it said that there is an error with troubleshooting it. If anyone knows whats wrong with it or how to fix it i would be grateful.

Seems like a simular issue I've encountred with my R6. Sometimes on reboot my audio icon in the taskbar will have the red circle with an X. However the audio is working fine. But when I click the speaker icon for audio up pops the troubleshooting wizard thing and it runs automatically, says it can't resolve the issue then shows various options. I just click cancel and then the icon is back to normal. I think this is some sort of Windows 10 bug that is triggered from the fast startup option in power options settings. Your PC never truly does a clean shutdown on power off as long as that setting is enabled. You should try disabling it and then see if your audio resolves it's self. Also remove any headphones,mic, or other audio device except for your speakers before you power your pc back on.

Hi,
Try reinstalling the audio driver and make sure that your system is running the latest Bios firmware. You can download the driver and the Bios from the Dell support site.
