Aurora R10, Alienware Update, Dell Client Management Service error
If I open Alienware Update I get the error - Dell Client Management Service error =
I've found a number of posts about this online and in the forums but no solution - when I track down the service in task manager it is marked as stopped and I cannot re-start it. It does not appear in the Services App at all.
Fixes listed such as this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RxUAuMMtgLw do not resolve the problem and appear to be for Windows 10.
Does anyone have a good fix for this issue? Are many other people experiencing this after recent updates?

Thanks for the reply. Might switch to windows update - expect it's more reliable.
The problem was with an update that didn't complete properly from Alienware Update.
I went to the 'support assist' app (also from dell) and was able to redo the updates there.
Will switch to Windows update, many thanks!

Actually, you can just uninstall it.
Windows-11's Windows-Update will toss-you everything you need to run Windows.

I agree with windows update. I'd mostly us Alienware update just to update their primary software for Dell apps. Also even if not necessary, I always restart my PC also I update all apps from Dell first.
Exampl Alienware(Dell) apps update.. RESTART, then I'll do my system update stack (all criticals).
Hope this example was helpful
