Aurora R10, bluetooth stopped working
Received product 3 days ago and everything looked fine. Then Bluetooth suddenly stopped working. Tried reinstall driver provided on Dell website, and every step provided by Microsoft troubleshooting page.
Still no good. Bluetooth device is: Qualcomm QCA9377
Has anyone seen a similar issue?

Ok, I have solved this issue using instruction here,
I shutdown the XPS 8930, unplugged the power cord for a few minutes, then powered it back on. I then went to Device Manager and uninstalled the Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed). When I then did a Scan for Hardware Changes, the Bluetooth appeared in Device Manager. This resolved the issue.

Really? That is strange.
What if you delete it from Device-Manager and then reboot (to re-PnP it) ?
If that doesn't help, try "re-seating" the mini-card .
Software config is in Settings and also BT icon in Task-Tray.

My R8 bluetooth worked fine for about a year and then one day *poof* the Bluetooth icon disappeared from the taskbar and the device is no longer seen on device manager.
Reseating solved the problem but it's been coming back every other month or so. It's my secondary rig so I don't really mind. Just bidding time building up my own secondary rig and then it's byebye .

Hi everyone! I also randomly encountered the issue on my R10.
Tried all the steps mentioned so far in thread.
Inside Device Manager, there was an Unknown USB Device. when I uninstalled that unknown device, and waited 20 seconds, Bluetooth started working again.
I want to say it is a Windows 10 2004 thing, since I have had misc Bluetooth issues on other PC's after updating to 2004.

I'll try this next time. Didn't think of uninstalling that unknown USB device. I also saw that in Device Manager when my Bluetooth failed. Thanks!

I also had this problem today, I'm also using Alienware R10.
Have used it for several weeks with no problem. But today, in the middle of typing using bluetooth connected keyboard, it's not working anymore.
I have disabled the bluetooth but that enable/disable switch also disappear from "Bluetooth & other devices". I then checked "Device manager", I can see bluetooth, the property of that "Qualcomm QCA9377 Bluetooth" says:
```
Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)
100% - this solved my issue. Like mentioned, "Scan for Hardware Changes" in Device Manager must be selected as the last step.
I have also had this problem. I contacted support about it and this is what they told me to do:
Turn off the PC. Unplug the power cord. Press and hold the power button on the front of the PC (hold for a few seconds). Plug in the power cord and restart the PC.
This has worked for me to restore bluetooth. I have had to do this about 5 or 6 times over the many months that I have had an R10. I wish they would fix this issue.
I restarted it like 5 times before that... trying to update the driver and re install and nothing worked but however after Unplugging the cable from the tower for 60 seconds and plugging it back in and turning it on.. it worked lol
Actually there is a great workaround for this but its going to cost you features.
First you are going to have to remove the mini PCI card that's attached to the mainboard of the Aurora R10 series. Not the SSD! The other little card is located just right above the PCI express slot near the rear of the case undo the Philips head screw and remove it do not replace it.
The issue is that Qualcomm no longer makes this adapter because it was buggy and unstable. Your best bet is to remove the device and go to a USB Bluetooth adapter. I did this and haven't had a single issue. But you lose wireless so you will also have to purchase a wireless adapter as well.
