Aurora R10, cannot get different video cards to work

Question

I've tried two other video cards in the R10, and neither of them will display anything. I've called Dell support and after like 7 attempts to actually reach someone, with constant phone calls being disconnected, I finally reached someone. Unfortunately this person had no useful info other than "read the manual on Dell.com".

The video card i'm trying to get to work is:

VisionTek Radeon 7750 2GB GDDR5, AMD Eyefinity 2.0, PCI Express 3.0

Turning on the computer, nothing displays. The computer sounds like it is posting, but I cannot confirm for sure with no display. The keyboard flashes the num-lock at the right time etc. I can put the old video card back in RTX 3080, and it boots up fine.

The new R10 I just got says its PCIE 4.0. The video card i'm attempting to use is PCIE 3.0. The pcie standard says they are backwards and forwards compatible, so it should have no problem working. Any ideas?

I need this video card so that I can use more displays (i'm assuming someone will ask).

This looks to be a somewhat older card, so there are 2 things that come to mind as to why it might not work:

- UEFI support. Without UEFI the system will not boot. You can read more here: AMD UEFI mode

- PCIe X16. Not 100%, but the documentation seems to indicate it needs an X16 slot at 16 lanes. While the R10 does have 2 full length PCIe slots, they only operate at x8 link speed. 16X8. It sounds like this card might need 16X16.

Yeah, those old AMD cards were for Legacy-BIOS systems. For it to work in an UEFI-system, you had to flip the dip-switch on the video-card (if it even had one or supported both modes).
