Aurora R10, difference amber and white blink code
Hi,
i noticed that my R10 Ryzen Edition (Ryzen 9 5900X) sometimes has a white 2.1 blink code at startup but not always (about 1 time out of 10 starts). The system is booting normaly and i cant find any problem. The manual says that 2.1 blink-code might be a motherboard-failure but the colour would be amber not white. Does anyone know the difference? I have crucial non-oem-memory installed running at 1.35v with no issues at all. The aurora also sometimes showed this white blink code with the oem-memory installed since it was delivered. Can i simply ignore it because i cant find any issues or problems?

After talking to the tech support i came to the conclusion that the 2.1 blinkcode is indeed caused by my aftermarket crucial memory. Sometimes on startup it seems like the system is searching for the right settings before booting and then showed the 2.1 blink-code. I noticed that the system was showing this behaviour more often lately. I decided to go back to oem memory. I bought a 32GB 3466MHz upgrade-kit for my Ryzen 9 5900x R10 directly from Dell. The Dell oem upgrade kits are the same kingston fury sticks that are shipped with the auroras they only have an additional dell sticker. It was very expensiv but is performing well so far and without 2.1 blinking code. The timings are slower than with the afermarket rams though. So in the end i have to accept that the only 100% compatible ram is oem in these alienware-systems.

I watched some unboxing videos of the r10 and it seems like most of them show some sort of 2.1 blink-code on startup. My system runs fast and stable so i dont think its something to be worried about.
