Aurora R10 GPU Upgrade

Alienware Aurora Ryzen Edition R10

Alienware Aurora Ryzen Edition R10

I have an Alienware Aurora Ryzen Edition R10 with a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 6GB GD DR6, 16GB or RAM,  AMD Ryzen 5 3500 (6-Core, 16MB L3 Cache, Max Boost Clock of 4.1GHz) & Dark Side of the Moon chassis with Low-Profile Smart Cooling CPU Heatsink and 550W Power Supply.

I always have trouble trying to figure out which parts I can use with my systems.

Can anyone tell me what GPUs I can upgrade to with my current computer?

I'd like to get a minimum of an 8gb GPU.

Thanks!!

Thanks, I looked through the various threads but could not find anything definitive, such as a list of GPU's which are compatible with my current system.

These are the original OEM specs for the RTX cards: OEM specs

What you are looking for to determine compatibility is:

- RTX 3000 series card.

- Dimensions of the card. Especially the 267 mm maximum length.

- Power requirement for the card, since you have a 550 Watt PSU and that will limit your options. Also check your PSU cables to ensure you have the required power connectors.

If you go to the Newegg website, they allow you to filter by GPU card length. It's a good tool to find cards that are 267 mm or less long. You can then look them up at Amazon or whatever other retailer, to get the best price.

Note: always look up the dimensions on the manufacturers website to confirm, Newegg can be wrong.
