Aurora R10, PSU upgrades help

I am upgrading my GPU to the AMD rx6800xt. I was informed I need to update my PSU to 1000w. Dell sent me one however no cables. My current psu is hardwired. Dell wasn’t very helpful on explaining what I need. Can anyone point me in the right direction of all the cables I need.  It also seems the new gpu has 2 plugs where my current has 1. Below is the new psu and my current setup. Only difference is I have 64gb now not 16
thanks in advance.

That's like selling a car without tires and saying tires do not come with it.

That's disappointing to say the least. Like I said, without the cables it's just a paper weight.

Hopefully it was cheap...

That’s what I said to them also. They said cables don’t come with it. And of course they are out of stock SMH

You are going to need (optimally) a set of Aurora R10 power cables very specific to that Delta PSU (may be Huntkey) . It looks like, at a minimum, you will need;

1 EPS 8-pin CPU power cable

1 ATX 24-pin mobo power cable

1 SATA power cable for your 7200 rpm spinner

PCIe 8-pin (6+2) power cables for your graphics card (depending on how many power ports in your graphics card)

You did not have to get the PSU from Dell, since the Aurora R10 PSU is standard ATX format. Unless Dell will sell you the proper cable set . . . you may have to end up going with a 3rd party PSU anyway.

Note that PSU cables are specific to a PSU model and are not interchangeable.

And make sure you match the colors. With everything being 6 PIN on the back of the PSU it's easy to make mistakes connecting them, unless they are color coded.

It also needs to be the cables that go with the PSU. Any other cables will not work. I am rather surprised they would sell you this PSU without the modular cables. It's useless without the proper cables...

To be fair, if OP were replacing a nuked 1000 watt PSU, they would already have the modular cables.

understood . . . which is why you do not already have the modular cables

These would be examples of 1000 watt, fully modular PSUs that are between 140mm and 150mm long (recommended) pcpartpicker . . . all would include the modular cables

This would be my guess . . . going down the list;

SATA power cable for your 7200 rpm spinner

SATA data cable, which you already have

ATX 24-pin mobo power

PCIe 8-pin (6+2) graphics card power

PCIe 8-pin (6+2) graphics card power (not sure why different part numbers)

EPS 8-pin CPU power (not sure why the PCIe reference) if you currently have 8 wires in your CPU power cable, make sure the new cable also has 8 wires, and not 6 wires.
