Aurora R10, RX 6800 XT junction temps

Question

What should I do?

My R10

R9-5900

RX 6800 XT

32gb ram @ 3200 XMP

On 3DMARK GPU junction temp spiking at 114 degrees holding average 109 to 110, 3DMARK crashes, COD Vanguard crashes

Battlefield 2042 crashes junction temp spiking 114 then crash on all games.

On Support Assist temps never above 110 average 109

Dell Support says nothing wrong it's a software issue, system crashed while writing this question, restart got the 2-1 blinking, had to unplug and drain residual.

Would repasting the GPU fix this or transfer to a different motherboard, along with new case and PSU.

This is my second system after an exchange and my 4th GPU.

Air cooled or liquid cooled?

GPU tjunction or memory Tjunction?

I would also suggest not to overtax the system until you have this under control, because damage can occur to the hardware of things get that hot.

I would download MSI Afterburner and manually set the GPU fans to 100%, then try again.

In that case I would contact @DELL-Cares to assess system warranty options.

If you already had 4 cards replaced, there could be an issue with your case fan settings, or with the placement of the unit.

When not well ventilated they will turn into an oven pretty fast.

You can also lower the power limit to 75% with Afterburner and see how temperatures look.

Maybe I DO NOT want to try one of these after all, in a new Dell (as my introduction back to team Red).

Be sure you are running no OverClocks (stock-clocks on CPU or Memory).

And then try a slight GPU Down-Clock ?

It's not at all normal. I have an RX6800XT in my R12 and I run a 2350mhz-2450mhz Core clock setting, 2000mhz fast timing memory clock and 15% power limit increase and pretty much stock fan speeds aside from zero rpm disabled and 80c+ setting set to 90% rpm. I never reach over 74c during hours of hard gaming
