Aurora R11, AIO upgrade

looking to upgrade the Aurora R11's AIO Liquid cooling system and I was wondering is there a slot for a 360mm one? or can I only use 120mm AIO's I also wanted to get one from corsair with RGB, any ideas or recommendations? I would like to note that I want to fit as big an AIO as possible for my CPU and if you happen to know a AIO system that would water-cool my Alienware 3080 and 10700k that would be amazing, thanks

There's only the slot for the 120mm AIO, the Corsair H60 or H75 will fit nicely.

You could put a 240mm in there, but you'd either have to lay it flat under the GPU (and put slim fans on), or custom mod the chassis up top and remove the 120mm box.

360mm, no room.

I think you also have another thread where you want to upgrade the ram, and change all the case fans.

Together with liquid cooling the GPU and CPU, that would amount to such a high price tag that it might be cheaper for you to send the Alienware back and purchase something from another AIO that offers the specs you are looking for.

All of the upgrades you are looking for, besides the ram, will require experience in installing and modifying hardware. Especially liquid cooling the GPU, as the Dell GPU's are custom made for Dell and I am not even sure they sell an aftermarket liquid option for them. You would definitely need to remove the existing cooling solution and install a water block on your 3080. Unless you know exactly what you are doing, I would not recommend to attempt it. You would also need a second radiator, a pump, tubing etc...

Price isn't of concern in this case but I appreciate the concern and help, ill just stick with the 3080 air cooling then. thanks! I 100% don't mind setting up a custom water-cooling system I would just not know what to get in terms of compatibility if you know could you tell me? I also would prefer soft tubing as I am too clumsy for heat up and mold hard tubing.

@Anonymous I am looking to add the extra fan in the front by removing the 3.5” HDD bay and i was wondering how did you attach the fan there? Dif you just zip tie it or did you have some sort of bracket with the Y spiltter?

Not sure if anyone mentioned it yet but if you are going from air cooled to an AIO make sure you get the VRM heatsinks first otherwise you could potentially be causing another problem.

@Anonymous lastly, i am looking to change the PSU in my R11 for this corsair one: CORSAIR HXi Series HX1000i 1000W 80 PLUS PLATINUM Haswell Ready Full Modular ATX12V & EPS12V SLI and Crossfire Ready Power Supply with C-Link Monitoring and Control - Newegg.com or this  CORSAIR HX Series HX1000 CP-9020139-NA 1000W Power Supply - Newegg.com

would either of these PSUs fit in the R11 alright? if so, my final question is will these cables be compatible with the PSU:  Corsair CP-8920222 Premium Individually Sleeved PSU Cables Pro Kit Type 4 Gen 4 - Black - Newegg.com

i have no extra addons in the PC so is that all the cables i will need and am i okay to buy these with no issues? thanks in advance.

Didn't they show some images for liquid cooled gpus in the aurora series? Thought I remembered seeing them and the radiator looked like another gpu.

Like this? RTX 2080 Super. I think it is the only GPU that had it, don't know if it is available
